She is the one to sit with you and make you study through the exams as if it were her writing the exams. She is an ideal woman to share your worries, troubles and thoughts when in doubt. She gives you hope and encouragement when you are feeling low. She is the one to tell you lovingly that “Beta, failure is the stepping stone to success.” She will not tell you how to do things but let you do them and correct your mistakes when required. She knows all your friends and enemies and guides you like a life long teacher. For all those staying far way from your mother your heart only grows fonder with distance and time and you long for her warm hug, wishes and sweet, kind words along with homemade food. Blessed are all the mothers who have given timely care and attention to their children and families. A mother is the one to teach you to be gentle with your siblings and to love them back without any bad feelings. She tells you to have a large heart and to forgive those who have erred you. She wants her child to learn every outgoing activity while growing up so that a better personality is built.
A mother is sadly, these days, the most unacknowledged person due to time crunching lifestyles that let us forget our moms and their sacrifices. Yes it’s true that we live in a façade of money- thirsty world but shouldn’t we do a little bit to our mothers to show how much we love them. Do mothers ever give a thought for themselves? Neither is her love high or less for her children. She is the best teacher, friend, nurse, philosopher in your life.
